The Cash App ecosystem reported a 28% year-over-year growth in gross profit, driven by strong monetization of its debit card and bitcoin services. Block's total net revenue reached $5.9 billion, a 22% increase compared to Q1 last year.

Across the sector, executives emphasized the critical role of AI in refining underwriting models. Companies reported improved fraud detection rates and more precise credit scoring, leading to reduced defaults and enhanced loan book performance. This integration of AI is contributing to more efficient operations and a strengthened competitive position for leading fintech firms.
